The Write Niche

May 13th, 2008 by HitMan

When people speak about getting involved with Niche Marketing, it is all about a certain portion, large or small of a single subject matter. This single aspect is then expanded upon and clarified beyond most reasonable doubts to the average reader. The ultimate end purpose of this is usually in order to generate specific desires to click on relevant advertisements or purchase a certain product that is being offered for sale on that particular web site.

How To Keep Up Peak Peformance As A Timeshare Or Vacation Ownership Salesperson - Balance Your Life

May 7th, 2008 by HitMan

One very successful timeshare salesperson told me, “when you have a monthly paycheck over $10,000, you’ll be hooked on this industry forever. The income and the pace of sales can leave your breathless with excitement, or out of breath, flustered. It depends on what type of a month you are having. If you make a $10,000 paycheck, it’s easy to want to continue that pace forever.

Just as life has ups and downs, so does commission-based sales. When you are making lots of sales you can live on the adrenaline and it’s amazing. If you stop making sales, you just don’t tend to feel as excited and neither does your bank account. The key to continued success is balance.

Negotiation - Understanding Movement, Concessions And Bargaining

April 9th, 2008 by HitMan

Asking questions and listening effectively are important skills both in selling and
negotiating. The first phase of negotiation involves both parties agreeing the
background to the negotiation and fishing for the opening demand or offer.

It is often better to present the opening demand or offer in terms of a hypothetical
question, as this allows the negotiator to retreat to his initial position if necessary.

The opening offer will probably be at or just about the level of the negotiator’s
maximum expectation, giving him room to manoeuvre, but not so high that the offer
lacks credibility. Do not attempt to win. at this stage, but hold sufficient back so that
you are able to move, if necessary, at a later stage.

Please invest five minutes of your time. You may become a better sales person as a result.

Many times in my sales career, that now spans over 17 years, I have had debates with peers, executives, and managers regarding what the most critical sales stage might be. I have enjoyed the animated conversations because everyone has their own opinion and it’s usually a strong one. I just love the passion and energy! Some say it’s the closing skill, some say it’s prospecting, and on down the line………..

Why Internet Article Marketing Is A Lot Like Fishing?

February 15th, 2008 by HitMan

Internet article marketing is growing by leaps and bounds. And, the other day when reviewing my article writing statistics, I realized how much Internet article marketing and fishing had in common.

Within Internet article marketing, there are numerous categories or topics. Depending upon your business focus, you can write articles on:

  • Business General
  • Business Sales
  • Business Ethics
  • Business Customer Service
  • Business Strategic Planning
  • Business Top 7 or Top 10 Tips
  • Self Improvement General
  • Self Improvement Attitudes
  • Self Improvement Coaching
  • Self Improvement Leadership
  • Self Improvement Goal Setting
  • Self Improvement Time Management
  • Self Improvement Success

Now think of each of these categories as favorite fishing ponds with different types of fish. And your bait is your articles. You know that you have a bite when a fish strikes the bit or clicks through to your website.

Coaching Success - More On The Power Of Relationship In Building Your Coaching Business

February 15th, 2008 by HitMan

The poor business decision and the problem it created

About two months ago, I purchased two $120 fitted Boss dress shirts from one of several Nordstrom stores in Los Angeles. $120 for a shirt is admittedly a little extravagant, but they were perfect for the all-important first meetings with business clients.

From the moment I took them home, I was in love. I loved the way they fit, I loved the way they felt, and I was devastated when they came back from their first visit to the drycleaner with three shattered buttons a piece. The most irritating thing of all was that the fault wasn’t with the dry cleaner. Boss had made the decision to put form over function (aka looks over substance) and used buttons that weren’t compatible with most standard cleaning and pressing equipment.
